Limnonectes

sinuatodorsalis

The species was described by Matsui (2015)since then no more information has been published to our knowledge. The type locality is Long Api, Krayan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia (04°17'N, 115°57'E,ca. 1000 m a.s.l.).

Limnonectes sinuatodorsalis is small species of Limnonectes (snout-vent length 28–32 mm in males and 34–38 mm in females). The tympanum is visible. The hindlimb is relatively short: the tibiotarsal articulation of adpressed limb reaches at most to posterior corner of the eye. The tips of toes are enlarged into small disks. Webbing to distal subarticular tubercle of fourth toe; flaps on outer edge of fifth toe movable, but flaps along both edges of third finger not movable. The dorsal skin is very rough with radiating wrinkles but has only few warts and no cones.

L. hikidai is different from L. sinuatodorsalis in that the fourth toe is not webbed beyond middle subarticular tubercle, wrinkles of dorsum radiate from warts, and the tympanum is usually invisible.
