Penrissen Fanged Frog
Matsui et al. 2024 reported the species from the name-giving type locality at Gunung Penrissen. There it is sympatric with Limnonectes conspicillatus from which it is distinguished by relatively wider digital disks.
The female specimen shown here is from the type locality, genetically unconfirmed, but was tentatively assigned to this species.
