Ingerophrynus:
Ingerophrynus
quadriporcatus
Swamp Toad
Ingerophrynus quadriporcatus lives in peat swamp areas in coastal lowlands. Tadpoles live in peaty, black water. The adults are slightly bigger and more corpulent than the congeneric I. divergens but less contrasty in coloration. I. quadriporcatus is named after the four bony ridges on top of its head.
Size of adults: 50 mm in males, 60 mm snout-vent length in females
The tadpoles of I. quadriporcatus are quite typical bufonid tadpoles: small in body size (<25 mm total length) and rhomboidal body shape when looked at from above.
There are undivided 2 keratodont rows on the upper lip and 3 on the lower. Similar to I. divergens, the nostrils are relatively large and bear a triangular medial process.
