Spotted Narrow-mouthed Frog
Microhyla maculifera is a very small (males: 12-13 mm SVL), rare species. Very little is know about its biology. It has been described from Danum Valley, Sabah. It is a lowland species. The species is named after the spots on the shoulders. The photo presented here shows a paratype specimen kindly provided by the Field Museum Chicago, FMNH231272.
