Staurois tuberilinguis
Green Spotted Rock Skipper

Staurois tuberilinguis inhabits small to medium rocky streams. It is smaller than S. natator and its skin is rougher with rows of warts. It has been recorded from hillside primary forest up to > 1,600 m asl.
Males are usually 25 mm, females 35 mm.
We cannot present images of the tadpoles, but, in general, it is similar to the tadpole of S. natator. It has been caught from leaf litter accumulations in quiet sections of streams (Malkmus et al. 2002).
