International Conference on the “Biology of the Amphibians in the Sunda-Region”
to be held 28 September – 03 October 2009, Kuching (Malaysia)
With this conference we would like to bring together different groups of people with interest in Sunda amphibians. Our hope is that this conference will not only allow us to inform each other about past and present activities and research, but especially strengthen networking among groups. This includes all groups interested in amphibians, such as researchers, park managers, conservation authorities, students, etc. We think that currently there are many activities in the Sunda Region concerning amphibians, but often these activities are still too isolated. We would like to encourage particularly those researchers who are interested in networking, innovation, and collaboration to participate in this meeting.

Your feedback is needed: We would like to reissue our call for feedback. The preparation of the meeting has been somewhat delayed but now we do our best to catch up with the schedule. Some of you have already given us feedback, but many others have not. If you would like to participate but have not indicated so to us, please use the attached Word .doc form to express your tentative interest to attend. Your feedback is considered preliminary until we set up a formal registration procedure (hopefully soon). We urgently need your feedback in order to estimate participant number, calculate costs, and raise funds. Those of you who have already sent us the form need not to do anything at this point.
Registration: We hope to present you a registration procedure soon. We ask for your patience at this point. Once we have the registration procedure, we will inform you and ask you for submission of oral papers and poster presentation. We try to keep things simple and cost low.

Circular: We have updated the Circular Letter, especially in the Housing and Post-Congress sections. Please read it and use the feedback form (only if you have not done so previously) at the end of the text to give us a preliminary feedback. Mail, fax, or email us the form.
